NOTICE: WATER TOWER REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE

The Town of Shelburne Water Storage Tower Facility Repairs & Maintenance Project has commenced. Works will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with the potential for extended working hours to 7:00 p.m. including weekends. Extended hours should only occur between October 23rd & November 12th when the water storage tower is taken offline.
When the tower is offline, the Town will be unable to supply the balanced system pressures and peak demand normally experienced within the community. For this reason, the Town of Shelburne must impose water restrictions as authorized in BY-LAW 47-2015 to ensure that the health, safety and fire protection needs of the Town are met. The Shelburne Police Service is designated and will act as the enforcement agency.
 

MANDATORY RESTRICTIONS
- No lawn watering at any time
- No filling of hot tubs or swimming pools

 

VOLUNTARY RESTRICTIONS
- Reduce the need for car washes
- Avoid the use of appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines during the peak hours of 6:00am – 9:00am
