Financial Incentive Now Available to Help Cut Home Heating Costs & Improve Home Comfort

The EnerGuide for Houses energy evaluation service provides homeowners with expert advice on upgrades which can be made to help reduce heat loss from the home and improve the home’s energy efficiency. Financial incentives, including a federal retrofit grant ranging from $215 to $4580 are available. Contact the Caledon Dufferin REEP for more information. Information can also be obtained by visiting the Municipal Offices during business hours.


Service Canada Outreach Office
The Government of Canada's one-stop service delivery network, giving the citizens access to a range of federal services. Available at 1-800-622-6232 or at www.servicecanada.ca.

Open First Tuesday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Employment Insurance (EI)
Application assistance for all types of EI benefits is available. Clients have access to general information and forms as well our staff will assist clients with questions specific to their EI claim. Access to a telephone connected to the EI call centre is also available to clients.
Employment Programs and Job Bank
Information on Government of Canada programs to help clients obtain employment is available. Clients also have access to the Job Bank from our client workstation.
Income Security Programs (ISP)
Information and applications are available to clients for the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS) and the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS). Our staff will certify copies of the original documents and will assist with general questions related to the application forms. Access to a telephone connected to the ISP call centre is also available to clients.
Social Insurance Numbers (SIN)
General SIN information is available. Our staff will also complete applications for first time SIN, name change applications or extensions to the expiry date of a temporary SIN.
Pleasure Craft Licensing (PCL)
Clients can complete applications for all types of PCLs, including new applications, transfers, duplicate and cancellations. Clients can also receive general information about the PCL program and boater safety information.
Universal Child Care Benefit, Child Tax Benefit and the Canada Educations Saving Grant and Canada Learning Bond
Applications forms and general information on the above programs is available at our location. Our staff will assist clients where possible and refer them in the right direction when needed.
Information on other Federal Government Programs and Departments
Information in print format and online is also available on a host of other Federal Department’s and programs including : Passport Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, Citizenship and Immigration, Transport Canada, Agriculture Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs and Veterans Affairs.

Internet, Facsimile and Telephone Access
Our location is equipped with a Service Canada computer, a printer, a facsimile machine and a pre-programmed phone with direct dialling to Service Canada, ISP and EI call centers.
