Ribbon Cutting at Fiddlepark's new building
On July 30th the new building located at Fiddlepark officially opened. The new facility contains washrooms, showers, a main park office and contains a kitchen for food service. On hand for the ribbon cutting were Mayor Ed Crewson and Fiddlepark Advisory Committee Chair Dennis Moore as well as many other contributors involved in the project.




CDRC Receives Funding for
Renovation & Expansion Project
In June 2009 MP David Tilson and MPP Sylvia Jones, alongside Mayor Ed Crewson and Deputy Mayor & CDRC Chair Ken Bennington, announced the awarding of an Infrastructure Stimulus Fund grant for a 3 million dollar renovation and expansion project. The Federal and Provincial governments have granted two-thirds of the total project cost. Plans are now underway and construction should start in late September 2009.
